Who we are
Living Systems Soil LLC consults with farmers and other growers about soil health. Our focus is the biology of the soil because we understand that the living microorganisms in the soil are the important, overlooked foundation of soil (and planetary) health. Our geo region is the Mid-Atlantic U.S. Our watershed area is the Chesapeake Bay region and urban farming is a specialty area. Leslie Lewis is certified as a consultant and lab technician by the Soil Food Web School.

We share non-proprietary methods and processes to create composts, extracts, and teas that support the life of local microorganisms that create healthy, growing soil. We show you how to apply and sustain these biologically rich substances as they become part of your farm or gardens, so that your property cycles health.
